What were the objectives?
The mobile phone market in Belgium is quite conservative and dominated by a few established names such as Proximus and Telenet.
For us, the challenge was not only to ensure more brand awareness for Youfone as a new, reliable partner, but also to deploy SEA optimally. In other words, how can we leverage all the relevant opportunities within both Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to put Youfone on the map more efficiently and well.
How did we go about it?
To begin with, we reviewed all Dutch- and French-language campaigns. After the necessary analyses, we made the necessary changes to both the deployment and structure of the campaigns.
The new setup gave us more insight into the Belgian user’s search behavior both in terminology and search intent. It gave us the opportunity to optimize better and set up testing more easily.
Over an extended period of time, we did a lot of testing with target audiences, ad copy and landing pages to compare and improve results.
And with success.
In 12 months, we have made some nice strides in optimizing the use of SEA. By increasing relevance and better responding to the searcher’s buying phase, we achieved the following results, among others:
