Beddenleeuw SEO Case: From 0 Visibility to Top Positions
About This Project
Beddenleeuw has been a manufacturer of high-quality box spring beds for over ten years. After years of supplying to stores and wholesalers, the brand opted for D2C: direct to consumer.
With local production, the delivery time is short and the price-quality ratio is strong — but the brand was unknown online.
The Challenge
New brand + new site → 0 authority & 0 visibility
Competition from established names (including Swiss Sense, IKEA)
Ambition: to rank for generic, competitive keywords like “box spring” and “buy box spring”
Our Strategy & Goals
Build authority around sleep & box springs from zero reputation, and gradually advance towards competitive keywords.
What We Did:
- Content machine on: 2–4 informative blogs per month for 18 months (from "maintaining a box spring" to "cool bedroom in summer").
- Solid SEO foundation: on-page optimization, internal link structure (hub → subtopics), consistent metadata.
- Realistic roadmap taking into account the 6–9 months often required for authority building, without compromising on quality.
The Result
First 6–9 months: noticeable increase in rankings (still little traffic — as expected at this stage).
After 9 months → 18 months: breakthrough in visibility, traffic, and conversions thanks to collaborative content + links.
Structural Positions (Averages)
“Box spring” → Top 3
“Buy box spring” → Top 5
“Duvet cover” → Top 10
“Buy bed” → Top 15
